IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Addie Washington
Sweet
October 19, 1917 – November 6, 2019
Addie Washington Sweet was born on October 19, 1917, in Mitchell County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mary Emma Chaney and Pheffer Washington.
During the early years of her life, she confessed CHRIST and united with the Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church where she served as mother of the church.
She was united in marriage to Webster Sweet who preceded her in death.
"Big Mo", as she was affectionately called by family and friends, was a loving and caring mother who looked well to the ways of her household. As a homemaker, she diligently cared for the needs of her family. She was blessed not only with children, but grandchildren and great grandchildren who were a source of joy and pride in her life. The family shared many happy and precious moments together and truly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. In her free time, she enjoyed going to church, fishing, riding around town, and talking with family and friends.
On Wednesday, November 6, 2019, Big Mo's earthly journey ended when she answered the Master's call to come home. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Willie James McIntyre; a sister, Florence Shepherd; three grandchildren, Julia Cooper, Gloria Digbie, Jan McIntyre.
She leaves to mourn her passing and cherish her fond memories, a son, Robert Lee McIntyre, Jr. of Camilla, Georgia; a grandchild she reared, Annie Grace Moore of Albany, Georgia; two godchildren, Lotta McClellan of Atlanta, Georgia, Sabrina Harrison of Camilla, Georgia; fifty-six grandchildren; eighty-eight great grandchildren; one hundred twenty-six great-great grandchildren; two hundred thirty-six great-great-great grandchildren; ten great-great-great-great grandchildren.
