Alex Williams, the son of the late Guss Williams and Archie Brown, was born March 28, 1933 in Baker County, Georgia. Alex dedicated his life to Christ and served many years as a member of Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Camilla.

Alex was a good, humble man who worked as a skilled craftsman construction laborer for several decades before retiring in 2001. All who knew him knew him to be generous and didn't mind helping others.

Two children and five siblings preceded him in death.

Alex departed this life on Tuesday, December 21, 2021 at his residence.

He leaves to cherish his memories, wife Carolyn Williams of Camilla, Georgia; daughter Betty Williams of Baconton, Georgia; stepson, Johnny Williams (Kelanda) of Meigs, Georgia; seven grandchildren, a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and devoted friends.
