Andrew Lee Reese was born on November 7, 1940 in Mitchell County, Georgia, to the late Joe Reese and Arlena Reese.

"Tub", as he was affectionately called, was the sibling of three sisters, Mary Lee, Annie, and Mary Ester; three brothers, Joe, Jr., Bobby, and J. C.

He received his education at Camilla Consolidated School and was a member of the class of 1962.

He was united in marriage to Alberta McGregor.  To this union, one daughter, Sandra, was born.

Andrew confessed CHRIST at a very early age and joined the Union Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend M. W. Merritt.

He was blessed with a gift to play sports.  He played as a defensive lineman in football, baseball (where he was a catcher) for Dave "Buddy" Jackson and his late brother, Roy (Fat) Reese.  When it was time for Tub to bat while playing baseball, he would be somewhere eating.  Since Tub loved to eat, he received the name of Appetite.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lee Redden; four brothers, Joe Reese, Jr., Bobby Earl Reese, J. C. Reese, and Roy Reese; brothers-in-law, George Redden, Albert Ryan; sister-in-law, Ida Mae Reese.

On Sunday, December 25, 2022, he quietly transitioned to his eternal home at Mitchell County Convalescent Center in Camilla, Georgia.

Those left to cherish his memories include a daughter, Sandra Reese (Freddie); one son he reared, James McGregor (Nikki); one daughter, Tenika Johnson (Eric); two sisters, Annie Lee Thomas of Camilla, Georgia, Mary Esther Ryan of Dothan, Alabama; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
