Apostle John W. Green, son of the late Tom Green and Ethel Green, was born on November 27, 1942 in Sylvester, Georgia.

Apostle Green was a very hard worker in doing landscaping and field work.

Apostle Green was an active Apostle at Miracle Temple Holiness Church in Thomasville, Georgia.  He always showed love to anyone he would meet and that's why so many people loved him, oh so dearly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Robbie Lee Knight and eleven siblings.

He departed this life on Saturday, September 23, 2023, in the comfort of his home.

Apostle Green leaves to cherish his loving wife, Ethel K. Green; four children, Anthony Green, Jacoleman Green, Ruby Green, and Tara Green; a special granddaughter, Tyneisha Knight; fourteen grandchildren; three great grandchildren; his beloved siblings, Gene , Elijah, George, Wesson Mae, Catherine (Johnny), Quincy, Aretha, James L., Jody, Rose Green; brothers-in-law; sisters-in-law; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  He also leaves a very special nephew (B. J.).
