Auro L. Williams affectionately known as "Ro" was born November 26, 1936 to L.C. Williams and Rutha Mae Williams in Camilla, Georgia.

She attended Rockdale High School in Camilla, Georgia.

Auro confessed to Christ at an early age and joined Bethel Missionary Baptist Church where she served on the usher board until her health failed.

She departed this life on April 12, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Lawrence Williams, Ulysses Williams, Willie Albert Williams, and Zack Williams.

Auro leaves to cherish her memories five devoted sisters, Jerrie Jackson, Maude Hodges, Martha Bowman, Shellie (Robert, Sr.) Price, Carrie Williams; one brother, Roger (Helen) Williams; a sister-in-law, Nancy Williams; a special friend, Charlie J. Quimbley; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
