Barbara Ann Martin, daughter of George Martin and the late Mary Lizzie Martin, was born October 11, 1954 in Mitchell County, Georgia.
Barbara, who was affectionately called "Barb", died on Saturday, August 25, 2018, at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla, Georgia.
She confessed CHRIST and united with the Summerhill Missionary Baptist Church in Pelham, Georgia.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Martin; a sister, Deborah Jefferson; and two nephews, Robert (Luv) Williams, Jr. and Xavier Zaragoza.
She leaves to cherish her memories a father, George Martin of Bainbridge, Georgia; two sons, Shaft Martin of Pelham, Georgia and Kenya (Donna) Martin of Pelham, Georgia; three daughters, Laronda Martin of Pelham, Georgia, Latessie (Montrell) Pate of Conyers, Georgia, Kaotris (Oscar) Clayton of Pelham, Georgia; grandchildren, Sharonda, Rondarian, Ja'Quez, Tymbreanna, A'Miracle, Makiah, Kentravius, Tre'Veon, Ty'Ke, Domanique, and Fredrick; five sisters, Jeraldine Peoples of Quincy, Florida, Rossie (Francisco) Zaragoza of Atlanta, Georgia, Fannie (Jimmy) Johnson of Camilla, Georgia, Lottie (Robert, Sr.) Williams of Camilla, Georgia; four brothers, Carl (Sonia) Martin of Albany, Georgia, Willie Mack Martin of Bainbridge, Georgia, Eugene Martin of Atlanta, Georgia, Jerry (Mary) Martin of Pelham, Georgia; a special nephew, Stanley Toombs of Camilla, Georgia; twelve great grandchildren; a mother figure, Lillie Oliver of Pelham, Georgia; special friends, Evonne Burns, Susie Harris, Ruth McKinney, Wanda Carter, Joann Haynes; a host of nieces, nephews, other sorrowing family and friends.
