Barbara Michelle Morman passed away on September 10, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on September 23, 1964, Barbara will be remembered as a loving woman whose life was marked by faith, devotion to family, and a caring spirit that touched those around her.

Barbara was a 1983 graduate of Mitchell-Baker High School. She went on to spend several years as a daycare teacher, a role that reflected her patient and nurturing heart. She was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia, and while in Savannah she attended Maranatha Mission. Her faith was an important part of her life and helped shape the way she cared for others.

She was united in marriage to Sebastian Morman on September 21, 1984.  To this union one son, Sebastian Morman, Jr., was born. 

Those who knew Barbara will remember her as quiet, reliable, and ambitious. She was generous, helpful, loving, dependable, and conscientious, with a kind spirit and a sense of humor that brought warmth to those around her. She also carried a feisty side that made her presence memorable to all who loved her.

Barbara leaves behind a family who will cherish her memory always. She is survived by her husband, Sebastian Morman of Midway, Georgia; her son, Sebastian Morman, Jr. of Midway, Georgia; her mother, Ammerette Walker of Camilla, Georgia; her brother, Cleveland Walker, III of Camilla, Georgia, her sister, Sandra Walker Lee of Tallahassee, Florida. She is also lovingly remembered by her brothers-in-law, Clark and Odessa Morman of Hinesville, Georgia, and Cain and Mary Morman of Camilla, Georgia, as well as her sister-in-law, Marion and Charles Dewberry of Brooklyn, New York; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews.  Each of them carries forward the memory of Barbara’s love, her strength, and the steady care she gave so freely.

She was preceded in death by her father, Cleveland Walker, Jr.
