Barbara Ann Wallace, daughter of the late Thelma Wallace, James Wimberly, and Barry Wallace, was born September 1, 1971 in Camilla, Georgia.

She received her formal education at Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla, Georgia.

She united with the Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.

Barbara was a very perceptive, good natured and generous person who was a joy to be around.  Her heart was filled with love and compassion and her family meant the world to her.  She was a beautician for many years serving people in the Mitchell County and surrounding area.

On Thursday, December 21, 2023, Barbara answered her final call at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital and transitioned from this earthly life to life everlasting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Wimberly and a sister, Gloria Wimberly.

Barbara leaves to cherish her memories, two sons, De'Narick (Donyetta McCraw) Wallace and O'Bryant (Ashley Traver) Wallace; grandchildren, De'Narick Wallace, Jr., Dontrevion Wallace, Danyelle Wallace; siblings, Valarie (Timothy) Clayton, Tommy (Gwendolyn) Wimberly, Sr., Patricia (Paul) Davis, Lee (Jennifer) Wallace, Patricia Wallace, Perlist (Debra) Wallace, Pernella (James) Brown, Cecil Wimberly, Bonnie Conley, Barry Wallace, Jr., Gloria Bell, Horris Wimberly, Sr., and Darryl Wimberly, Sr.; aunts and uncles, Gwen Jackson, Shelia Clayton, Willie Gardner, Eddie Mae Gardner, Freddie Gardner, Diane Holt, Maple Gardner, Louis Gardner, Curtis Holt; a close friend, Lynn Haynes; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
