Belinda Jones-Preston began her life on December 8, 1955 to Dorothy Lyons and the late Louis Jones in Mitchell County, Georgia.

At an early age, she confessed CHRIST and united with the Second Mount Olive Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia.

Belinda received her education in Dougherty County Public School System.

Belinda was a faithful employee of Equity Group Division in Camilla, Georgia for twenty years.  She retired in 2018.  Later, she was employed with Baconton City Hall.  She was an amazing employee that always had a smile.

She departed this life on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, at her residence.

She leaves to cherish her memories a loving mother, Dorothy Jones Lyons of Baconton, Georgia; a daughter, Kaysha Jones of Albany, Georgia; two sons, Louis Jones (Jackie Nabors) and Sedric Jones (Colena) of Apalachicola, Florida; a sister, Cynthia Jones-Owens (Wilbur) of Roseville, California; a brother, Eric Lyons (Nekia) of Brunswick, Georgia; grandchildren, Quentin Smith, Ga'Kayla Smith, Ja'Kayden Jones, Ja'Leice Jones, Jordan Tucker, Ja'Kobi Tucker, Sedric Jones, Jr., Ca'Layia Jones, Harmony Jones, Sedria Jones, K. D. Jones, Georgia Jones, Khyleigh Jones; a host of special nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
