Memorial Services will be conducted on Thursday, December 10, 2009, at 11:00 a.m., at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Pelham Congregation.

Mr. Benjamin Frank Butler, Jr., was born September 28, 1962 to the late Benjamin Frank Butler, Sr. and Earnestine R. Butler of Pelham, Georgia.

He was preceded in death by one sister, Bertha Randall and one brother, Frank Butler Thomas.

He attended Pelham High School and was a graduate of the Class of 1982. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Army. Later he graduated from Moultrie Technical College.

Benjamin Butler was joined in marriage to Shirley Edwards on May 11, 2003.

Later on November 1, 2004, Benjamin and Shirley were born ordained as Jehovah's Witnesses.

He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Shirley Butler of Pelham, Georgia; two daughters, Rhonda (Romon) James of Jacksonville, North Carolina, Vantressa Smith of Pelham, Georgia, and one son, Demetres (Harlena) Smith of Cairo, Georgia; two sisters, Glenda Butler of Pelham, Georgia, Lt. Commander Rosetta (Andrew) Williams of Arlington, Tennessee; an adopted sister, Mae Frances Marshall of Orlando, Florida.

He also leaves a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and loving friends.
