Obituary

Bruce Allen Johnson was born in Pelham, Georgia on January 24, 1971.  He was the beloved son of Brenda Jackson and the late Eddie Jackson.

He received his formal education at Pelham High School graduating with the class of 1990.

He accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.  He later joined the Saint Peter African Methodist Episcopal Church in Camilla.

He was united in marriage to the former Donna Anita Bradley on June 9, 2001.  To this union two beautiful children were born, Bradleigh Bena' and Jackson Allen.

Bruce labored tirelessly at Oil-Dri Corporation in Ochlocknee, Georgia for many years.  He later became employed with Arch Trans Non-Emergency Transportation Service in Thomasville, Georgia where he found a new family and niche in life.

Bruce was a very conscientious individual who embraced opportunities and the chance to experience life with open arms.  He was goodhearted and had an everlasting love for family and friends.  He was one of those rare people with the unique ability to draw people toward him and become a part of their lives.  He always had a positive attitude, was quick to smile and laugh, and was an expert at making others feel good.  He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, nurturing uncle, caring cousin, and loyal friend.  You couldn't know him without being inspired by his love, devotion and zest for life. Bruce enjoyed being active and had many interests during his life.  He was an avid fan of Prince. He loved to barbecue and entertain others.  His favorite time of the year was Christmas and his favorite place was the beach.  Bruce will be deeply missed by all who dearly loved him.

On Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital in Albany, Georgia, Bruce peacefully answered the Master's call to eternal rest.
