Carl Anthony Spence was born to the late Frances Spence and John Arthur Spence on December 28, 1965 in Mitchell County, Georgia.

Carl was a member of the class of 1984 at Mitchell-Baker High School in Camilla, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Catherine Spence; two brothers, James Mobley, John Mobley; a brother-in-law, Alonzo Ford.

He departed this life on Friday, July 27, 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted companion, Debora Brown of Pelham, Georgia; four children, Latisha Montrell Gates of Hinesville, Georgia, Brittany LaShay Spence, A'Shonta Cheyenne Bryant, Kyarre Punessia Bryant of Camilla, Georgia; a stepmother, Janice Spence of Camilla, Georgia; four sisters, Bonnie Mobley, LaShonda Davis, Jantoria Wynn of Camilla, Georgia, Glenda Spence of Pelham, Georgia; three brothers, Ronald Spence of Camilla, Georgia, Jeffery (Sharolyn) Spence of Albany, Georgia, Jason (Tammy) Wynn of Camilla, Georgia; two godchildren, Vadashia Ross and Meagan Brown of Pelham, Georgia; three grandchildren; two god grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
