Obituary
Carl, as he was affectionately called, was reared by an aunt in Belle Glade, Florida. Carl had a love for doing any kind of mechanic work as well as being a carpenter.
Carl was a friend to anyone he met. He loved people and loved helping people in any way he could.
He departed this life on Monday, October 24, 2016 at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.
Carl leaves to cherish his memories, a brother, Matthew Long, Jr. of Manhattan, New York; a sister, Ruth Long of Pahokee, Florida; a special friend, Tiffany Sanders of Pelham, Georgia; a special daughter, Tamya Sanders of Pelham, Georgia; three children he cared for as his own, Savannah Sanders of Pelham, Georgia, Lem Sanders of Pelham, Georgia, Tiffanie Sanders of Camilla, Georgia; other relatives and friends.
