Charles Edward
Hurst, Jr.
March 11, 1945 – May 28, 2025
Charles Hurst Jr., son of the late Charles Hurst, Sr. and Emma Hurst, was born March 11, 1945, in Bainbridge, Georgia.
Charles grew up in the Hopeful Community. He confessed CHRIST at an early age joining Antioch Missionary Baptist Church. Later in life, he became an honorary member of Majestic Kingdom Embassy. Charles departed this life on May 28, 2025, at the Wilson Hospice House.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories three children, one loving daughter, Joy Hurst of Camilla, Georgia, Vincent (Terri) Ross of Stanton, California, Quindale Coker of Miami Florida; siblings, Mary Alice Hunter of Whigham, Georgia, Emma Jean Hunter of Albany, Georgia, Annie Lois (Keith) Smith of Westbury, New York, Doretha Dancy, Miami, Florida, Gwen Mobley of North Carolina, Rose Pittman, Camilla, Georgia; brothers, Earnest (Clara) Hurst and Willie Mack (Joyce) Hurst of Bainbridge, Georgia, Ted Hurst of Rochelle, Georgia, Shedrick (Katherine) Hurst of Fowlston, Georgia, and Tony Hurst of Brinson, Georgia; grandchildren, Emmett (Cassidy) Ross, Kai Ross, Quindale Coker, Jr, Quinesha Coker and great grandchildren Beau Ross and Roderick McNight, III; a best friend, Howard Green; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
