The funeral service of Charles Reddick. Jr., will be conducted Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 331 Peachtree Stree, Camilla. Apostle Colonel J. Thomas will officiate. Interment will follow in Oakview Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ira Harris, Emmanuel Reddick, Jerome Robinson, Kenneth Shelton, Nathan West, J. T. Williams.
Charles Reddick, Jr.
affectionately known as "Bubba Boles" was born June 3, 1934 to the proud/late parents, Katie Mae Boles Reddick-Johnson, Charles Reddick and Henry Johnson (step-father). Charles attended the public schools of Camilla, Georgia. Charles was a hard working young man who was skilled with his hands. He was a business man who acquired the rapport and affection from many from his community. After marriage, he dedicated his life to Christ and united with Beulah Baptist Church of Camilla, Georgia.
On Wednesday Morning, June 2, 2010, Charles Reddick Jr. peacefully received his call home.
He leaves to cherish fifty four years of memories a devoted and loving wife, Mrs. Carlee Reddick of Camilla, Georgia. He was a loving and devoted father to four children: Joe Ernest Reddick of Miami, Florida (Patricia), Lilly C. Reddick (deceased), Evangelist Glory J. Reddick-Thomas (Apostle Colonel J. Thomas, Jr.) of Pelham, Georgia, and Charles Reddick, III (deceased).
He is also survived by three sisters: Elma Williams (Johnnie-deceased), Lillie C. Hayward (Jack-deceased), Rosa Lyons (Robert-deceased); seven brothers and four preceded him in death; Joe Reddick, John Henry Johnson-deceased (Margaret-deceased), James Johnson (Nita), Nathaniel Johnson (deceased), Horace Johnson-deceased, and Robert Johnson. Also, he will be forever in the hearts of his Grandchildren: Keisha A. Thomas-Williams (Terrance), Trissa M. Thomas, Joseph E. Reddick (Sharmia), Emmanuel X. Reddick, Tiffany S. Reddick, Veronica Reddick, and Kenya Reddick- Hillsman (Ulyeses), ten Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors, and friends.
