On Saturday, December 2, 2023, Charles Hubert Robinson transitioned from this life at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia, to his new home.
The son of the late Nelson Robinson and Elizabeth Robinson, Charles was born July 5, 1949 in Mitchell County, Georgia. He confessed CHRIST at an early age and joined New Salem Missionary Baptist Church where he served on the Usher Board.
Charles was a 1968 graduate of Camilla Consolidated High School. After graduating from high school, he enlisted with the United States Navy. He was also a 1976 graduate of Albany State College. While at Albany State, he became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
He became employed with Georgia Power Electric Company in 1977 and remained there until retirement.
Charles was united in marriage to the former Linda Johnson on May 5, 1977. Together they were the proud parents of three girls.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Ann Haynes; and two brothers, Jesse Robinson and Nelson Robinson, III.
Leaving to cherish his memories are his wife, Linda Robinson; daughters, Devany R. (Eric) King, Zandra R. Profit, and Crystal Gale Robinson; nine grandchildren, Zania Profit, Denzayah King, Joshua Drake, William King, Jasmine Robinson, Zaniah Profit, Jordan Robinson, Zoey Profit, and Curtis Robinson; brothers, Timothy (Eva) Robinson, Tommy (Ethel) Robinson, James (Leola) Robinson, Ben Robinson, Raymond (Beatrice) Robinson, John Robinson, Carlton (Katrena) Robinson; sisters, Dorothy Lyons, Belinda (Jeremiah) Cummings, Jeanette (Tommy) Seay, Annette Robinson; three sisters-in-law, Earnestine Burley, Lizzie J. Robinson, Reatha J. Simpson; a very special niece, Eutrilda Wynne; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends he loved dearly.
