Charlie Bell, the son of the late Jack Bell and Lilly Bell, was born October 25, 1924 in Mitchell County, Georgia.

He lived in Miami, Florida for over sixty years and was a successful husband, father, and active member of the community where he retired as a Grand Union truck driver.

Charlie was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Katie Bell.

He was affectionately known by his friends and family as "Buddy." Charlie was a man who would do anything for anybody if he could. He was well liked and respected. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched.

He died peacefully on Sunday morning, February 22, 2009 in Hialeah Hospital in Miami, Florida.

He is survived by his son, Arthur James Bell; daughter-in-law, Gladys Bell; grandsons, Terence Bell and David Bell; great-great grandchildren, Tyler Bell and Kayla Bell; sisters, Lolly Love and Pearlie Mae Swann; brother, Sam Bell; a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
