Charlie C. Thomas, son of Timothy Wade, Sr. and Bertha Mae Wade, was born July 11, 1953 in Camilla, Georgia.

At an early age he attended St. John Missionary Baptist Church.  He attended Camilla Consolidated School.

He worked for the City of Camilla as a laborer for several years and was also employed with Seminole Sanitation as a truck driver.

He was united in marriage to the former Sunilla Jones.  To this union two children were born, Yolanda Thomas and Cody Thomas.

Those preceding him in death included two brothers, J. B. Thomas and Leonard Lamar Wade; one sister, Mary Jane Thomas Jackson.

He departed this life on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at his residence.

He leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Yolanda (Rickey) Thomas of Camilla, Georgia; a son, Cody Thomas of Pelham, Georgia; father, Timothy Wade, Sr. of Camilla, Georgia; a mother, Bertha Mae Wade of Camilla, Georgia; five grandchildren, Ashley Thomas, Ariana Thomas, Rickey Thomas, Jr., Aaron Thomas, Aashten Thomas; two sisters, Sherry (Johnnie) Williams and Stacy Wade of Camilla, Georgia; three brothers, Timothy (Barbara) Wade, Jr., Earnest B. Wade, Michael (Brenda) Wade of Camilla, Georgia; three aunts, Minnie Williams of Camden, New Jersey, Catherine Broadwater and Mary Williams of Camilla, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
