Chris Ann Harris was born on October 25, 1963. She was the last-born baby girl to Margaret Redden Harris and Chris Columbus Harris.
Chris received her education at Mitchell County School System where she graduated from Mitchell-Baker High School in 1982. Chris Ann attended Albany Technical College earning a diploma in Early Childhood Education in 1997.
At an early age she joined the Friendship Missionary Baptist Church of Camilla, Georgia under the leadership of Reverend Henry L. Flowers, Jr. Later in life she joined the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church of Baconton, Georgia under the leadership of Reverend Ananias Hopkins, III.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Doretha Harden, Mae Willie Harris, Mamie J. Harris, Darryl Harris, Glenda J. Wimberly, Robert Mack.
Chris Ann departed this life on Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Mitchell County Hospital.
Chris leaves to cherish her memories two loving and devoted children, Charamine La'Cole Harris and Kevin Antonio Harris of Camilla, Georgia; two sisters, Christine Hogan-Stevens of Tallahassee, Florida, Phillis D. Bonaparts of Camilla, Georgia; one brother, Jerry D. Harris of Camilla, Georgia; ten nieces; seven nephews; aunts; uncles; a host of great nieces and nephews. Chris also had two special close friends, Teresa Quimby and Teresa Stewart of Camilla, Georgia.
