Obituary
The funeral service of Clarence "Dimmer" Johnson, will be conducted Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m., at the Robert Jester Mortuary. Reverend Golden Sheppard will officiate. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.
Clarence "Dimmer" Johnson, son of the late Louise Johnson and Russell Johnson, was born August 1, 1922 in Mitchell County, Georgia.
At an early age he united with the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
He departed this life on Friday, June 25, 2010, at Mitchell County Convalescent Center in Camilla, Georgia.
He leaves to mourn his passing a daughter, Carol Mobley of Camilla, Georgia; three sisters, Betty Brown, Maxie Pate, Inez Scurry of Camilla, Georgia; one brother, James Toombs, preceded him in death; a sister-in-law, Annie Ruth Toombs of Camilla, Georgia; a special cousin, Jimmy Stewart of Camilla, Georgia; several nieces, nieces, other relatives and friends.
