Corey Tranell Wimes was born March 10, 1984 in Camilla, Georgia. He was the second child born to Geralyn Collier Haynes and the late Kevin Wimes, Sr.  On May 7, 2021, GOD called HIS child to rest.

Corey graduated from Stone Mountain High School in Stone Mountain, Georgia in the class of 2002. He attended South Carolina State University where he studied Computer Science and Mathematics.

After college he went on to explore different avenues in business. He managed Rappers and produced Music. His love for animals led him to open a pet store. He was a strong and independent young man who would often help anyone who needed him. He was a very loving son and brother.

Haynes, Jr.; grandparents, Mr. Clemmie Lee Collier and Christine Collier (both deceased); brothers, Antonious M. (Nadia) Anderson, Sr. of Norcross, Georgia, Matthew M. Haynes III of Ridgeville, South Carolina, Christopher M. Haynes of Ridgeville, South Carolina; one aunt, Zelda M. Collier of Camilla, Georgia; three uncles, Clemmie L. Collier (deceased), Raymond Collier of Atlanta, Georgia, Earl (CuShena) Collier of Camilla, Georgia; two nieces, Sandrea Edwards of Atlanta, Georgia, Nyla N. Anderson of Norcross, Georgia; two nephews, Antonious M. Roach of Atlanta, Georgia, Antonious M. Anderson, Jr.; cousins, Derrick D. Collier of Camilla, Georgia, Jaylan Collier of Thomasville, Georgia; one more person who was like a brother to him is Clarence Freeman of Orangeburg, South Carolina; and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.
