Daniel Lee Tyson, a loving son, brother, nephew and uncle departed this earthly life on Wednesday, June 4, 2025.  Daniel's life journey began on March 25, 1965, in Toledo, Ohio.  He shared a birthday with his aunt, Mildred and uncle, Millard.  Affectionately known as Danny, he was the third child born to Rosa Lee Tyson.

Danny was educated in the Toledo, Ohio and Mitchell County Public School Systems.

Obeying the call of God, Danny gave his life to CHRIST at an early age.  He joined the Camilla Holiness Deliverance Church, Camilla, Georgia under Pastor Jeannette Rogers.  He later joined Higher Heights Fellowship, Albany, Georgia, under Dr. Mildred Wimberly, until his death.

To know Danny was to love him:  he was the life of the party with his strong roaring voice and his infectious laugh.  Danny was a great chess and checker player, defeating most of his opponents.  He loved basketball.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Henry Tyson, Jr.; nieces, Valerie and Belinda Tyson; grandparents, Richard and Jeanette Rogers; aunts, Mamie, Jennie V. Ginger, Corine and Edith; uncles, General Dillard and Andrew Jackson.

He leaves to cherish his love and legacy, his devoted mother, Rosa Lee Tyson; sister, Tina (Vincent) Jackson; brother, Alexander (Suzanne) Tyson of Albany, Georgia; aunt, Dr. Mildred Wimberly, Albany, Georgia; uncles, Elgin Rogers, Toledo, Ohio, Millard (Mary) Rogers, Sumner, Georgia and Raymond Rogers, Jackson, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  He was loved by many.
