Obituary
He was preceded in death by a brother, three aunts, two grandmothers, a grandfather, and a great uncle.
He attended the Mitchell County School System and Grady County School System. Later in time, he accepted CHRIST as his Lord and Savior uniting with Walking by Faith Ministry.
David was a very bright respectful and loving young man. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. David attended Bainbridge College majoring in Criminal Justice until his health began to fail.
On Saturday, October 7, 2017, our beloved was called home to be with Christ.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted and loving mother, Tina (Robert) Scott of Camilla, Georgia; his father, David (Rosalyn) Johns of Ochlocknee, Georgia; one sister, Shania Butler of Camilla, Georgia; two nephews, Cameron Butler and De'Arion Beatty of Camilla, Georgia; two nieces, Ka'Synthia Butler and Kirsten Brown of Cairo, Georgia; grandfather, Daniel (Mary) Roach of Mitchell County; four uncles, Lee Butler of Sylvester, Georgia, Charlie Lee (Bonnie) Roberts of Macon, Georgia, Billy Freeman, Jr. of Augusta, Georgia, Henry Johns of Winter Haven, Florida; six aunts, Annie (Earl) Drakes of Camilla, Georgia, Shana Hawkins of Albany, Georgia, Annie Doris Johns, Mattie Smith, Eva Jewel Smith, Nyna Jones of Pelham, Georgia, Mattie (J. R. ) Patten of Cairo, Georgia; a loving and special friend of the family, Arvin Russell; godparents, Darlene (Buddy) Sherman; a special and dear friend, Tawanna Grimsley of Cairo, Georgia; three god-sisters, Danyell Sherman, Kesha Sherman of Cairo, Georgia, Jessica Grant of Cairo, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends.
