David Ross, son of the late West Ross, Jr. and Kizzie Ross, was born July 27, 1942 in Mitchell County, Georgia.

At an early age, he confessed CHRIST and united with the Saint Mary Missionary Baptist Church of Baconton, Georgia.  He attended Camilla Consolidated School.

He was employed with Mitchell Electric Membership Corporation where he retired as a lineman.

He was united in marriage to the former Susie Mae Wright.  To this union three children were born, Elliott Ross, Virgil Ross, and Vanesia Ross Frazier.

He was later united in marriage to the former Eunice Baylom.  To this union two children were born, David Ross, Jr., and Gallivan Ross.

He departed this life on Saturday, July 4, 2020, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.

He leaves to cherish his memories a wife, Eunice Ross of Camilla, Georgia; five children, Vanesia (Terry) Frazier of Warner Robins, Georgia, Elliott Ross of Atlanta, Georgia, Virgil (Debra) Ross, David Ross, Jr., Gallivan Ross of Camilla, Georgia; three sisters, Eloise (Sylvester) Quimbley of Baconton, Georgia, Mary Hurst of Camilla, Georgia, Lucille Hicks of Miami, Florida; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
