David Lee Turner, 74, made his transition into eternity on Friday, September 24, 2021 at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

David was born on December 31, 1946 to the late James Turner Sr. and the late Bertha Turner of Baconton, Georgia.  David graduated from Camilla Consolidated High School in the Class of 1965.  Soon after high school, he then served in the United States Army.  He received three purple hearts during his tour of duty.  After serving in the United States Army, David took a career path with UPS (United Parcel Services) in Kansas City, Missouri.  Retiring after 32 years, he decided to return to Georgia with his family and friends.

He is survived by: two brothers: James Turner Jr. (Grace Turner); Eddie Turner (Betty Turner); one sister: Pamela Mosley (Harold Mosley) and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
