Donald White was born March 19, 1953 in Camilla, Georgia to the late Agnue "Buddy" White and Fleter Dawson White.  He departed this life on September 26, 2023, at the Archbold Living Center in Camilla, Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his son, Corey Donald White, Sr. and two brothers, Willie White and Rudolph White.

Donald accepted CHRIST at an early age at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend E. W. Wilson.  Donald joined Open Door Church of Praise, Inc. in 1979 under the spiritual leadership of Dr. Joe R. Thomas, where he is a charter member. Donald was the first deacon ordained at Open Door Church of Praise. He served as the Church Secretary, a Sunday school teacher, Co-Youth Director, and Transportation Director.  Donald and Bonita were ordained and licensed as Ministers in 2008.  Among church members he was affectionally called Bro. Don and Bro. D.

Donald was a graduate of Mitchell County High School Class of 1971 (the 1st Eagles) in Camilla, Georgia.   He attended Albany Technical College earning a diploma in Small Engine Repair in1990.  Donald was employed with the City of Camilla for twenty-eight years.

Donald married his loving and devoted high school sweetheart Bonita Scott-White on June 10, 1972. He loved and was dedicated to his children, grandchildren, family, friends, and his church.  Donald was a quiet storm and a hardworking man who could repair anything.  He loved fishing and hunting and was an avid gardener.  He got his love for plants from his mother.  He loved the Falcons, the Braves, and reading his Bible.

Donald leaves to cherish his memories his wife of fifty-one years, Bonita S. White of Camilla, Georgia; three daughters, April M. White of Shreveport, Louisiana, Brittney D. White of Camilla, Georgia, and Wendolyn D. Davis of Monroe, North Carolina. One son, Rodrick L. (Shebreka) White of Camilla, Georgia.  Twenty-two grandchildren: Petty Officer 3rd Class Jonathan (Ileshia)Thomas of Norfolk, Virginia, Ambreanna N. Robinson of Carrollton, Tennessee, Jada B. Robinson, Union City, Georgia, Azaniah A. White of Fort Valley, Georgia, Aniyla White, Rodrick White, Jr., Ramyiah White, Neriah White all of Camilla, Georgia, Shaniqua White, JaNiya White, Gabriella White of Atlanta, Georgia, CaMya White, MaKaylin White, Corey D. White, Jr., Demetrius White, and Cameron White all of Camilla, Georgia, Haven Saxon of Columbus, Georgia, Loyal Florence, Christian Florence, and Aubree Florence all of Camila, Georgia, Hannah Green and Nemiah Green of Monroe, North Carolina.  One great grand, Layloni Bennett of Camilla, Georgia. God children, Jamilia Thomas (Norris) Howard of Chesapeake Beach, Maryland, Kederick (KD) Quimbley of Macon, Georgia, and Felecity (Kenley) Grissom of Atlanta, Georgia. His sisters:  Helen (Douglas) Clayton, Barbara (Tim) Wade all of Camilla, Georgia; Crystal (Don) Ezell, of Marietta, Georgia, and Shirley M. Reddick of Miami, Florida.  Three sisters-in -law, Barbara Childs, and Sandra Sullivan both of Camilla, Georgia, Joyce White of Plains, Georgia; two brothers-in law, Keith (Jacqueline) Scott, Allen G. Scott both of Camilla, Georgia.  One uncle Earnest Spence of Camilla, Georgia.  A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.
