Donna J.
Hill-Logan
July 19, 1955 – January 11, 2022

Donna was the third sibling of five girls born to Laura "Tiny" Gilbert (Hall). Donna came from a legacy of strong women led by Maggie Florence-Gilbert, Laura Gilbert (LaBelleStrong), Armelia Burley, and Chandler Childs.
Donna, as a teenager was given the nickname "Step Hall" because she loved to attend community talent shows and dances where she thrived on the dance floor. Once removed from city life, Donna enjoyed visiting and connecting with family members in Georgia, browsing the local thrift shops and Piggly Wiggly in Pelham.
She received her high school diploma from Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Donna later gained employment with the Miami-Dade County Public Schools Department of Transportation where after twenty-five (25) years of service, she retired.
Donna moved to Pelham, Georgia where she became a Long-Haul truck driver. Due to her ailing health, she eventually resigned from that employment. In the year of 2014, she returned to Homestead, FL to reside with her care-taking sisters Hazel and Patricia Hall.
Donna leaves behind her grieving sisters and brother: Patricia Lane (Charles), Hazel Hall, Armelia Rolle (Alexander), Beverly Hall, and Harvey Clayton (Carla), Uncles Henry L. Hill (Homestead), Jesse Hill, and Aunt Evelina Hill (Georgia).
