Dorothy Ann Clemons was born June 14, 1945 to the late Albert Griffin and Mary Alice Jenkins.

Doris, as she was affectionately called, attended Mitchell County Training School.She confessed CHRIST and joined the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

Later in life her mother married Macon Lynn, who raised her.

She was united in marriage to Larry Clemons on January 10, 1995.  Mr. Clemons preceded her in death in May, 2010.

Doris was also preceded in death by a son, Ned Griffin; a brother, David Griffin; sister-in-law, Sally Catherine Griffin.

Those left to cherish her memories include a daughter, Alice Williams (John) of Brownville, Tennessee; two sons, Charles Griffin, John Griffin (Deloise) of Pelham, Georgia; one sister, Mae Alice Ross of Pelham, Georgia; one brother, Albert Griffin of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; a loving daughter-in-law, Lynette Griffin of Pelham, Georgia; stepchildren, Zelisa Harris, Larry Clemons, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Jerome Clemons of Trenton, New Jersey; grandsons she reared as her own, Joshua Griffin, Sr. and Bacardi Griffin of Pelham, Georgia; one god-granddaughter, Destiny Haywood; grandchildren (reared), Joshua, Kensley, and Tyleah of Pelham, Georgia, John, Macon, Tonya, Tony, Travis, Noel, Albert, Dantrez, Lavar, Neddrick, Samaj, Artavian, Reggie; two sisters-in-law, Gail (Feaster) Watson, Laura Garvin of Trenton, New Jersey; one brother-in-law, Ted Clemons of Trenton, New Jersey; a host of nieces and nephews; four outstanding people she called her own kids, Babette Willingham, Roscoe Jones, Jr., Keith Jones, Brian Brock; special friends, Mary Davis, Sandra Jenkins, Horace Randall, Deloise Jones of Pelham, Georgia, Willie Demons of Vero Beach, Florida, Gloria Baseen of Birmingham, Alabama; special nieces, Mellineise Ross of Pelham, Georgia, Lavon McGee of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
