Dorothy Lee Knight, daughter of the late Charlie Gene Swann and Arie Silas Swann, was born May 19, 1936 in Camilla, Georgia.

She confessed her life to CHRIST at an early age at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.  She later united with the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.

She attended Rockdale School in Camilla, Georgia and was also employed with the Mitchell County School System.

She was united in marriage on July 1, 1961 to Robert Knight. To this union six children were born.  Three children preceded them in death.

She departed this life on Tuesday, January 1, 2019, at Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, Georgia.

Dorothy leaves to celebrate her life, her husband, Robert Knight of Camilla, Georgia; two sons, Charles Knight and Cecil Knight of Camilla, Georgia; four daughters, Kellie Knight, Cathy Knight, Lydia Swann of Camilla, Georgia, Anita Swann of Wildwood, Florida; two brothers, Andrew Swann of Moultrie, Georgia, Charles Swann of Gainesville, Florida; one sister, Ida Nell (Freddie) Owens of Gainesville, Georgia; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; four sisters-in-law, Katie Isom, Catherine Knight, Elise Knight of Camilla, Georgia, Pearlie Mae Swann of Cairo, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Johnny Lee Knight of Camilla, Georgia; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
