October 19, 1966 – November 8, 2023
Earnest Bernard Wade, Sr., son of Bertha Mae Wade and the late Timothy Wade, Sr., was born October 19, 1966 in Camilla, Georgia.
A loving father and grandfather, Earnest attended Mitchell County High School graduating with the class of 1984. He continued his education at Thomasville Technical College from 1985-1987. After leaving Thomas Tech, he joined the United States Army where he served from 1987-1990 where he was honorably discharged.
Affectionately known as "Ricky" and "Wade", Earnest's employment history included Wade's Construction Renovation, Inc. where he laid ceramic tiles and built houses; Cagle's (Equity Group Division) where he worked in the maintenance department. His last employment was with Broadleaf Trucking Company in Moultrie, Georgia.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Wade; one sister, Mary Jane Jackson; four brothers, Charlie C. Thomas, J. B. Thomas, Leonard Lamar Wade, and Aaron Wade.
Earnest departed this life on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 in West Memphis, Arkansas.
He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Zantanica (Corey) Hall of Moultrie, Georgia, Arnetta Wade of Camilla, Georgia, Zandrea Wade of Moultrie, Georgia; two sons, Tarrance Gardner of Waycross, Georgia, Earnest Wade, Jr. of Moultrie, Georgia; his mother, Bertha Mae Wade of Camilla, Georgia; seven granddaughters; seven grandsons; two great-great grandsons; a wife, Vickie Wade of Moultrie, Georgia; two sisters, Sherry (Johnnie) Williams, Stacy Wade of Camilla, Georgia; two brothers, Timothy (Barbara) Wade, Jr., Michael (Brenda) Wade of Camilla, Georgia; two aunts, Catherine Broadwater and Mary Williams of Camilla, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Horice Jackson of Camilla, Georgia; one special nephew, Eric Jackson; two special friends, Cleveland (Blue-Boy) Walker, III, April Thomas; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
