Earnestine Jester Norwood was born April 17, 1932 to the late Annie M. Lumpkin and Alfred Jester of Camilla, GA.

She was united on marriage to the late Lester Norwood on April 8, 1950. To this union were born seven children.

She accepted CHRIST at an early age. She attended the Union Baptist Church of Camilla where she served as a faithful member for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memory and continue her legacy five daughters: Kathryn Sampson, Ellenwood, GA, Curtesyne Thompson, Camilla, GA, Nora (Robert) Mobley, Leesburg, GA, Leslie Norwood, College Park, GA, Faye Nealy, Union City, GA; t wo sons: Lester (Tammy) Norwood II; Andre Norwood, Camilla, GA; fourteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grand children, two great-great grandchildren; t wo sisters; six sisters-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again. In life we loved her dearly, in death we do the same.
