A BEAUTIFUL FLOWER WAS BORN
Ella Vera was born to John Franklin who preceded her in death and Pearleva Maxwell on December 10, 1954. She was educated in Mitchell County Schools and graduated in 1972. She continued her education at Morris Brown College and graduated in 1977 with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Development.
HER LOVE FOR CHRIST
Ella Vera was baptized at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia in 1978. Upon her arrival to Memphis, Tennessee, she joined New Hickory Hill Missionary Baptist Church where she served in the Children's Ministry. Ella Vera later joined and served faithfully at Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church. She was also a part of the Bible Study Fellowship Group for many years. Her loved for Christ and service was dear to her heart.
HER DEVOTION TO HER FAMILY
Ella Vera joined Morris Heath in holy matrimony June 24, 1978 and to this union three beautiful daughters were born, Wendy Monez Heath who preceded her in death, Dr. Phoebe Yvette Maxwell and Judge Amanda Nichole Heath. She was affectionately known to them as "Mommy." Her love went beyond her family with her devoted ministry to other women as a Mary Kay Consultant for over 10 years.
A JEWEL FOREVER CHERISHED
Ella Vera's life will be cherished by her loving and devoted husband of 42 years, Morris Heath; daughters, Dr. Phoebe Yvette Maxwell of Memphis, Tennessee and Judge Amanda Nichole Heath of Augusta, Georgia; mother, Pearleva Maxwell of Tallahassee, Florida; sisters, Janice Wilson (Thomas) of Suwannee, Georgia, Donna Renee Harvey (DeWayne), Samella Dione Maxwell both of Tallahassee, Florida; brothers, Hubert Maxwell of Tallahassee, Florida, Stephone Franklin (Dottie) of Lithonia, Georgia and Preston Franklin (Mannye) of Jacksonville, Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
