Emma Lee Florence Estiverne, daughter of the late Russell Florence, Sr. and Cora Williams Florence, was born July 25, 1933 in Mitchell County, Georgia.  She passed away peacefully on Friday, December 5, 2025 at Bainbridge Health and Rehabilitation.  She was 92 years old.

At a young age, she took care of her younger siblings while her parents worked.  She was very protective over them.  She would even fight about them.  She loved all her sisters and brothers.

Emma was a people person.  She would give her last and not worry about herself.  She selflessly shared her home and food with many. She loved everyone and everyone loved her.

Also preceding her in death were six brothers, Aaron, Abraham, David, Jimmy, John Henry and Russell Florence, Jr; three sisters, Jeanette Florence, Mollie Bush, and Ethel Bell Florence-Wilkins.

Emma is survived by her loving devoted son, Stafford (Sharonda) Florence; three grandchildren, Hydraius Florence of Camilla, Georgia, Yakarrii Florence of Fort Worth, Texas, Elliot Carter of Albany, Georgia; bonus grandchildren, Justin (Sharmella) Strong, Jamaine Strong, Joseph (Akirria) Robinson and Miracles Whetsel; six bonus great grandchildren; one sister, Annette Sweet of Florida; one brother, Cecil Florence (Voncille) of Pelham, Georgia; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
