Obituary
The funeral service of Eowna (Junior) Weary, will be conducted Wednesday, October 22, 2008, at 2:00 p.m., at the St. James Missionary Baptist Church, 144 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Baconton, Georgia. Reverend Sterlie Calhoun, Jr., will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Lawrence Brown, Jr., Kevin Daniels, Dexter Morman, George Smith, Jr., Robert James Smith, Billy Williams.
Mr. Weary was born April 9, 1938 to the late Eowna Weary, Sr., and Estelle Richardson Weary. He confessed Christ and joined the St. James Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memories three children, Tereas Almond of Albany, Georgia, Bridgette (John, Sr.) Williams of Baconton, Georgia, Rodney Daniels of Albany, Georgia.
He also leaves nine grandchildren, Lester Laster, Oscar Almond, Latosha Almond, Dedric Almond, Dimp Almond, Rosalynn Almond, Shemaiah (Leroy) Nash, Johneisha Williams, John Williams, Jr.; thirteen great grandchildren; one sister, Juanita Quimby of Albany, Georgia; a very close cousin and friend, Joseph Jackson of Atlanta, Georgia.
