Obituary

Ethel Robinson was the tenth child of twelve born to Will Robinson and Eldora Robinson on July 6, 1923 in Mitchell County, Georgia.

Ethel attended school in Mitchell County. She gave her life to CHRIST at an early age at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church where she was a faithful member until health prevented her from attending. As an adult, Ethel worked tirelessly as an employee at Mitchell County Hospital. She retired at the age of eighty.

She was preceded in death by her son, Lucious Robinson.

She departed this life on Monday, September 24, 2018, at Mitchell County Convalescent Center in Camilla, Georgia.

She leaves to cherish her memories a brother, Willie "Bill Jack" Robinson of Camilla, Georgia; her grandchildren, Cassandra Childs of Detroit, Michigan, Darryl (Adrienne) Robinson of Laurel, Maryland, Andrea Robinson of Camilla, Georgia, and her namesake, Ethel Yvette Robinson of Camilla, Georgia, whom she raised. In addition to being a wonderful grandmother, Ethel was also responsible for raising her great grandson, Jacquavius "Dre" Williams. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren to carry on her legacy.
