The funeral service of Eunice Washington will be conducted Wednesday, November 4, 2009, at 1:00 p.m., at the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, 331 Peachtree Street, Camilla. Reverend Sylvester Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in the Oakview Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Sheddrick Jackson, Patrick Logan, James Spence, Orenthal Spence, Harry Williams, Tony Williams.
Eunice Washington was born to the late John C. Pittman and Essie Mae Pittman on January 7, 1917. God's garden needed a blossom, so he chose Mrs. Washington to be in his garden on October 30, 2009.
She joined Beulah Missionary Baptist Church at a very young age. She loved her church and the church family. She treated her church as her home making it a beautiful place to be.
She was married to James Washington for many years. He preceded her in death along with siblings, Catherine Pittman, Ruth Mae Pittman, Willie C. Pittman, and Annie Pittman Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memories, a brother, Wynn (Carolyn) Pittman of Oakland, California; a dear loving niece, Dianna (Earnest) Spence of Camilla, Georgia; five nephews, Frank (Carrie) Williams, Harry (Harriett) Williams, Cecil (Gwen) Williams, Herman Pittman of Camilla, Georgia, Tony (Vicki) Williams of Cairo, Georgia; one brother-in-law, Frank Williams, Sr.; one sister-in-law, Elizabeth Pittman Toombs of Camilla, Georgia; and many friends who loved her and will cherish her memory.
