Obituary
Fayte Williams died Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at his residence.
The funeral service will be conducted Saturday, January 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m., at First Assembly Church of God, 647 Old Camilla Highway 3, Camilla, Georgia. Pastor Stephen Beck and Apostle Colonel Thomas will officiate. Interment will follow in Oakview Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Tony Austin, Antonio Fletcher, Christopher Hayward, Robert Johnson, James T. Williams, Zavis Williams.
Fayte Williams was born on August 21, 1951 to Elma Lee Williams and the late Johnny C. Williams. He attended Mitchell County Schools and completed his high school education in Cincinnati, Ohio. He began his Christian journey in 1954 where he was baptized and became a member of St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Camilla, Georgia.
Left to cherish his life are his beloved mother, Elma Lee Williams of Camilla, Georgia; one son, Artez Morgan of Los Angeles, California; two daughters, Kendra Morgan and Glenda Morgan of Cincinnati, Ohio; four grandchildren; one brother, James T. Williams of Camilla, Georgia; three sisters, Ida (Carl) Corinthian of Belle Glade, Florida, Elma (John) Abrams, Juanita Williams of Camilla, Georgia; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
