Obituary
Ms. Clayton relocated to Gainesville, Florida on January 1, 1960 and resided there until her passing on October 17, 2013.
Ms. Clayton is survived by seven children, Patricia Ann Colson, Eddie Clayton (Siakendah), Bernard Swan (Helen), Didrick Smith (Isaiah), Ferdessa Cooper, Cynthia Cooper, and Roosevelt Cooper, Jr. (Alicia) of Gainesville, Florida; twenty-three grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren.
Ms. Clayton is also survived by two sisters, Dorothy (Robert) Knight, Ida Nell (Freddy); three brothers, Charles Swan, Andrew Swan, and Charlie Gene (Pearlie Mae) Swan; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Celebration of Life Service:
The funeral service of Florine Swan Clayton, will be conducted Saturday, October 26, 2013, at 1:00 p.m., at Open Door Church of Praise, 7828 U.S. Highway 19, North, Camilla. Dr. Joe R. Thomas, pastor. Words of comfort will be by Reverend Darryl Silas. Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
Flower bearers will be friends of the family.
Pallbearers will be Danny Cole, Jesse Colson, Roosevelt Cooper, Jr., Freddy Owens, Isaiah Smith, Bernard Swan.

The family is receiving friends at the residence of Ms. Clayton's sister, Dorothy Knight, 53 Sunset Circle, Camilla, Georgia.
