Obituary
Florine Ross died Thursday, May 31, 2012, at Wynfield Park Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Florine was born December 12, 1935, in Camilla, Georgia, to the late Pearlie Mae Ross Dawson. She lived in Camilla for a time under the care of her grandmother, the late Carrie Mae Ross. Florine lost her sight and hearing as a young child, but was always surrounded by a large family that loved and cared for her dearly. Florine's family also extends to Crossview Nursing Home in Pineview, Georgia, where she spent many years.
Florine is survived by her only daughter, Vicky Denise Lee; two grandchildren, Dallon Lee and Jacquelyn Teemer (Kenya) of Albany, Georgia.
She also leaves behind her dear sister, Dorothy Glover (Roosevelt) of Decatur, Georgia; a loving aunt, Catherine Bradley of Phenix City, Alabama; two nieces, Lisa Glover Bishop (David) of Douglasville, Georgia and Lydia Glover of Charlotte, North Carolina; two nephews, Darwin Glover (Evette) of Ellenwood, Georgia and Efren Glover (Alison) of Stone Mountain, Georgia; two great grandchildren; a host of other relatives.
The funeral service of Florine (Bay) Ross will be conducted Saturday, June 9, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 7470 River Road, Camilla. Reverend E. L. Wilson will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Those serving as pallbearers are Darryl Cannon, Willie Cannon, Darwin Glover, Efren Glover, James Norris Shelton, Kenya Teemer.
