Frank Childs was born in Talbot County, Georgia on November 23, 1937 to the parentage of the late Kimber Childs and Estelle Childs.

He attended Rockdale School and Camilla Consolidated School.

At an early age he united with the Beulah Missionary Baptist Church.

He leaves to mourn his passing two loving and devoted sisters, Johnnie Childs of Camilla, Georgia, Mary Robinson of Detroit, Michigan; three brothers, Willie Kimber Childs, Jackie Childs of Detroit, Michigan, James Childs of Atlanta, Georgia; a devoted nephew, James R. Childs of Camilla, Georgia; a special friend, Annie R. Williams of Camilla, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
