Fred Hill was born on May 10, 1951 to the late James and Carrie Bell (Burden) Hill. He departed this life on November 20, 2024 at Willson Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.

As a youth, he was educated in the Mitchell County School System.

Fred was united in matrimony to Margaret A. Wilson who preceded him in death.  A son, Sean, also preceded him in death.

Fred served in the Army branch of the military until 1987.  After his service, he was employed by Georgia DOT where he worked until he achieved retirement.

Fred was united in matrimony to Margaret A. Wilson who preceded him in death.  Also preceding him in death were five sisters and two brothers.

Fred is survived by his daughter, Laura Hill-Cooper (William) of Camilla, Georgia; one brother, Eddie Hill (Mary) of Thomasville, Georgia; four sisters, Helen Hill of Valdosta, Georgia, Emma Ruth Shelton, Marie Fincher and Geneva Vicks of Albany, Georgia; two grandchildren, Téa and Jalen Hart; two great grandchildren, Londyn Williams and Autumn (Paco) Hart of Camilla, Georgia; two brothers-in-law, Billy Wilson of Camilla, Georgia, Clint (Gwen) Wilson of Lawton, Oklahoma; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
