Fredrick Dontrez Marcus was born March 27, 1982 to Glenda Jackson Marcus and the late Charlie James Marcus.
At an early age, Fredrick joined Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
He graduated from Mitchell-Baker High School with the class of 2000.
Fredrick's hobbies included watching football; basketball; listening to music; spending time with family and friends.
If anyone would ask what is remembered most about Fredrick, the response would be his great humor. Fredrick had a sense of humor that his mother, sisters, and brothers, all had experienced. Whenever something was said that caused a little jesting between them, he always had a comical response waiting. Laughter made him unique and special. His family remember his respectfulness.
Preceding him in death included several aunts and uncles, Eddie Jackson, Mary McNair, Ruthella Smith, Jackson Smith, Woodrow McCray, Willie C. Jackson, Shelia McNair, Lee Hardy Mitchell, Otis Jackson, Willie Albert Smith, Sr.
