Obituary

Geneva Wingfield was born January 16, 1923 to the late Samuel Watts and Corine Watts in Baconton, Georgia.

She confessed CHRIST and united with the Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in the Greenough Community.

She was united in marriage to Moses Wingfield, who preceded her in death.  To this union two children were born.

Mrs. Wingfield was a graduate at Albany State University.  She was employed with the Mitchell County School System where she taught from over thirty years.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Wingfield.

She departed this life on Friday, October 26, 2018, in Montverde, Florida.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter, Marjorie (Malcolm) Frazier; brother, Samuel A. Watts, Jr.; nephew, Samuel A. Watts, III; seven grandchildren, Tonya Logan, Meika Louis-Pierre (Heinrick), Maxwell Frazier (Sara); Mandel Frazier (Melissa), Malcolm Frazier, II, Marcais Frazier, Makeba Gassant (Pedro); seven great grandchildren; one grandnephew.
