Geraldine Evans Bennett, daughter of the late Minnie Lee Evans and Walter J. Ross, was born October 16, 1950, in Camilla, Georgia.

Geraldine was a graduate of Mitchell County Training School.  She later attended Thomas Tech graduating with an associate degree.

She attended the Pelham Congregation of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses.

She was employed with Pelham Police Department as a Community Service Supervisor.

In addition to her mother and father, she was preceded in death by a son, Robert Tony Bennett, Jr., and a brother, Efrem Ross.

She departed this life on Tuesday, November 8, 2022.

She leaves to cherish her memories, three children, Ronda (Temond) Marcus, Temika (Fredrick) Battle-Jenkins, and Mary Bennett of Pelham, Georgia; aunt, Gwendolyn (Eddie) Toombs of Camilla, Georgia; the Ross family; twelve grandchildren; six great grandchildren; special friends, Lenora Basso, Retha Jenkins of Pelham, Georgia; Lucille Nixon of Miami, Florida.
