Harold Grant was born August 16, 1939 in Newton, Georgia, to the late Harold Grant and the late Sarah Carter.

Harold became a resident of Fort Pierce, Florida and was employed at the Longshoremen Association in Fort Pierce, Florida.  He retired in 1998.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nadika Grant.

He departed this life on Thursday, June 4, 2020, at Lawnwood Regional Medical Center in Fort Pierce, Florida.

He leaves to cherish his memories, a daughter, Frances O. Grant; grandchidlren, Ja'Harold Wright, Claudia Grant, and Capane Bertera; best-friend, Betty Proctor; a stepson, William Woodside; favorite cousin, Kathy Hundley of Camilla, Georgia; a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him dearly.
