Henry Lee Cole was born and grew up in Camilla, Georgia to the late Martin Cole and Ida Mae Reese Cole on November 22, 1955.  He later moved to Atlanta in his adult life, where he resided at the time of his death at the age of 63.

He was the father of two sons, Travis Cole, who preceded him in death, and Bryant Cole; grandfather of seven, Tamiya Webb, Nyeim, Elijah, Travis, Jr., Asia, Taniya, and Zaire Cole; one great-granddaughter, Mila Webb, all residing in Norfolk, Virginia; two siblings, Frances Young and Frank Willingham, preceded him in death; twelve siblings, Johnnie Hicks of Sasser, Georgia, John Willingham of Pelham, Georgia, Margie (Lorenzo) Chase of Atlanta, Georgia, Willie Cole of Miami, Florida, Gloria (Johnny) King of Albany, Georgia, Freddie (Beatrice) Cole of Camilla, Georgia, Joe (Ossie) Cole of Albany, Georgia, Michael Lewis of Camilla, Georgia, Sherry (Kelvin) Stubbs of Camilla, Georgia, Juanita Lewis of Albany, Georgia, Ethel Lewis of Tifton, Georgia, and Dominic Hallman of Camilla, Georgia.

He is also survived by two devoted aunts, Rosie Mae Gardner of Moultrie, Georgia, and Bettye Williams of Thomasville, Georgia; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and other sorrowing relatives and friends.
