OBITUARY
Brother James "Dap" Hodge, better known by his family as "Sonny", was born December 9, 1948 in Albany, Georgia, to the late R. B. Hodge and Pauline Mobley Hodge.
James attended Camilla Consolidated High School. He worked with Mars Incorporated until he retired in 1999.
James was united in Holy Matrimony to the former Mary Brown in 1980.
Preceding him in death include a sister, Marline Ballard; two uncles, George Mobley, Jr. and John Mobley.
He departed this life on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Willson's Hospice House in Albany, Georgia.
He leaves to cherish his memories a devoted wife of 33 years, Mary Hodge of Camilla, Georgia; four sons, Roger (Jerona) Hodge of Albany, Georgia, Kevin (LaTressia) Hodge of Camilla, Georgia, Patrick (Keaundra) Hodge of Albany, Georgia, Nicholas Hodge of Turlock, California; one daughter, Alison Brown of Camilla, Georgia; a brother, Robert (Shelia) Hodge of Baconton, Georgia; an aunt, Ruby Dean Mobley of Camilla, Georgia; ten grandchildren; three great grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICE
The funeral service of James "Dap" Hodge, will be conducted Saturday, November 17, 2012, at 1:30 p.m., at Robert Jester Mortuary, 107 Lincoln Street, Camilla. Discourse will be by Brother Jacob Peaks. Interment will follow in New Hope #2 Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at Robert Jester Mortuary on Friday, November 16, 2012, from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
