Jerry L. Riggins, was born August 2, 1957, to the late Robert Riggins, Sr. and Rosa Lee Riggins.  Jerry was born and raised in Camilla, Georgia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, Talvin Riggins, Virgil Riggins, Sammy (Bill) Riggins and Edward James (Honeyrow) Riggins.

He departed this life on Saturday, November 26, 2022, at the Mitchell County Convalescent Center.

Those he leaves to celebrate his life and wonderful memories are four brothers, Willie Frank Riggins of Camilla, Georgia, Bobby Riggins, Edress Riggins of Miami, Florida, Robert Riggins, Jr. of Cocoa, Florida; three sisters, Louise Bonaparte, Susie Riggins, and Alice Mae Reese of Camilla, Georgia; one aunt, Abbie "Honey" Rivers of Albany, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
