Jimmy Lee Lyons began his life on April 2, 1938 to the late Tom Lyons and Leola Lyons in Morgan, Georgia.

In 1965, he joined Dorothy Jean Quimby in holy matrimony.

At an early age he confessed CHRIST and united with Mount Nebo Baptist Church in Morgan, Georgia.  He was later ordained a deacon.

Jimmy Lee received his education in the Calhoun County Public School System.

After working at Coats and Clark for a brief period, he left to pursue his deam of becoming an automobile mechanic and the rest is history.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Lorraine Lyons; two sons, Paul and Marvin; seven brothers, Sammy Langes, Sr., Ben Lyons, John Henry Brown, Sr., Emmitt Riley, Sr., Richard Lyons, Tommy Lyons, and Larry Dennis Lyons; four sisters, Eddie Lee Ross, Annie Love Williams, Emma Copeland, Katherine Zackery.

Our beloved Jim Dandy leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of fifty-seven years, Dorothy Jean Lyons; his sister, Leila Mae Jones (Johnny); his children; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and friends.
