Joseph Bernard Bryant, son of Gloria Bryant and the late William Bryant, was born on April 12, 1974  Joseph had a strong faith in Christ.

Joseph attended public school in Mitchell County.  He was a jack of ll trades and a master of many.  His most recent employment was Walmart where he was well-respected by colleagues and customers for his kindness, helpfulness, and courageous spirit.  Joseph earned his Heavenly wings on October 20, 2024 at his residence surrounded by loved ones.  To his family and friends, Joseph was truly the life of the party.  He had a contagious energy, loved to dance, and brought joy to every gathering.  Whether it was a small family event or a large celebration, his laughter and enthusiasm filled the room.  He will always be remembered for his love of life, fun spirit, and the ability to make everyone around him smile.

He leaves a legacy of love to his daughter, Vanessa Gilbert; granddaughter, Raeleigh Gaines; mother, Gloria Bryant; siblings, William Bryant, Cheryl (Demitrius) Wimberly, Darryl (Felicha) Bryant, Victoria (Willie) McIntyre, and Ivory Bryant; nieces and nephews, Felicia, A'Shante', Quandarrius, Jarryn, Antyonna (Aurelius), Sha'Keria, Awveon, Braeden, Kennedi; a devoted caregiver and cousin Leitha Hicks; special cousins, Timothy Williams, Sharon Pitts, Jason Marcus, and Angie Perry; bonus mother, Gilberteen Williams; a special aunt, Hattie Jenkins; a special uncle, Robert Threatts; a host of aunts and uncles; great nieces and nephews.
